Same here:
“Stream API Error. Operation timed out after 5001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received.”

This seems to have started after the migration to the Cloud.

When it works, it’s great! But, it seems to be having a lot of API errors at the moment, so I can’t always see what’s in the Stream.

No worries – I figured out how to rollback to 2.2.15. Everything is working again. I’ll be carefull next time to test your updates before committing!

In future, could you also supply a 512MB limit, or at least something in-between 128-512, as I end up pushing 128 fairly regularly.

I’m using the cron handle, so that isn’t the problem.
I think I may have figured out why it’s happening in my case, which won’t be the same for others, I suspect.
I had installed the bbpress topics to post plugin, which replaces post comments with a loop that pulls in all the topics in a bbpress forum. The settings of this plugin had the categories of the post transferred into the tags of the topic. And, since I had the Autoposter triggered by categories, it fired off when the new topic was created but probably got confused, since it wasn’t a regular post but a custom post type (topic) that was somehow not what it expected?
I don’t know for sure, but it’s something I’ll look into.
In the meantime, I’ve limited what types of content gets posted, until I figure it all out.

I forgot to mention that I do create a post (custom post type) FIRST and THEN I call the bbp_insert_topic to create the topic in the back-end. I’d like to use your plugin to somehow associate the two.

I’m having the same problem. Will probably need to deactivate FB posting until this is fixed.

I’ve been finding a lot of people with the same problem and there is a building momentum behind the idea that this is not caused by the theme but by WordPress itself. People have tried all sorts of hacks to turn off WordPress’ built-in wptexturize function, change the wpautop function, etc, but this is beyond my level of understanding. Here’s an article with someone’s fix.
I tried installing RAW HTML Pro but this doesn’t allow short codes in between the [raw] tags.
To be honest, this is pretty annoying, and there seem to by a myriad of approaches.
