    Hi!
Product pages are loading very slow for a few last days. I deactivated all plugins one by one – Woopayments are causing an issue. I have Storefront theme and the latest versions of all plugins.

I am using Klarna and it’s logo and calculator uploads on every product page. When I switch Klarna off – product page starts to upload normally.

There is a setting for Apple and Google Pay – you can switch it off on product page. Can it be done for Klarna also? Or may be you can fix this speed issue the Klarna is causing, as it didn’t cause the speed issues before?

Edit: I tried to remove Klarna with CSS, but it didn’t have impact on speed, seem to be it is still working somewhere in the background.

    Hi @krashkat

I tried but couldn’t reproduce the loading issue on my site.

However, to disable Klarna, please navigate to Payments > Settings > Payment methods and deselect Klarna. Then, remember to click the Save Changes button at the bottom.

If that doesn’t change anything, go ahead and enable Debug mode in your WooPayments settings. Try to reproduce the error and then share the log you find in WooCommerce > Status > Logs with us.

You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here. Feel free to redact all the private information before sending it over.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Hi!

    Thank you for your reply.

Please note that I have wrote in my first message:

“I am using Klarna and it’s logo and calculator uploads on every product page. When I switch Klarna off – product page starts to upload normally”

What is the reason of using your plugin, if need to keep the payment method switched off? I need Klarna, but it slows the product page loading critically.

Is there the way to remove Klarna from product page completely (not with css)?

Edit: Seems to be you have different settings, Pay with Woo. I have Klarna. And issue is on mobile, not desktop.

    Hi @krashkat

I enabled both WooPay and Klarna. It’s possible that I stopped the screen recording before Klarna appeared.

Rest assured, I also tested on my mobile device, and didn’t notice any performance issues.

WooPayments doesn’t have a default option to disable it on the product page. However, I believe it can accomplish this with some custom code. Regrettably, I couldn’t find a ready-to-use code snippet in our documentation for you.

I would recommend asking development questions on the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. Many of our developers hang out there and will be able to offer insights into your question. You can also seek help from the following:

Additionally, It would be great to have you add your ideas as a feature request, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements. You can also submit a bug or enhancement request on our GitHub repo here, so that our developer team can check and provide further insights.

I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this gets you going in the right direction to get the job done.
