Really. I had no idea. Thanks so much for the response. That said, however, it brings to mind another question: How does one know what plugins “replace core files?” Again, thank you.

I don’t like using Widgets, but had to in order to get the actual links to show up. As for “Pages,” I used the Titles as a link in order to get the Turnaround Management Association and CEO CFO Group links up. I really don’t want to change the theme, as it fits well with my business and frankly I can’t find one that quite that good. When I don’t use Widgets, no links show at all.

Still wondering about this. I do have links showing, but they are “Pages,” as opposed to links from the option section. Thanks.

I’ve a new issue with Subscribe2. I received this email today from a subscriber:
“Got two copies, one HTML and one pure text. Both show you as the addressee as well as the sender, which could reduce the likelihood the message will be opened.”

The help desk at Subscribe2 suggested I contact my hosting service and I received the following response as the email issue, at least on my service, is a server issue:

the BCC header on php/cgi scripts is a server restriction as it is the latest trick SPAMERS have been using injecting BCC headers and pushing their junk and hiding themseves (and word press was one of the affected scrpts) however CC should work

Me as well. Technorati seems to update my blog posts, but in my account, it show the last ping to be 8 days ago.

I’ve tried that one, as well as update notify and another and never been able to get them to work. I just send out a note to a group in outlook with a link now.

Thanks, that worked. Now I’m fairly new to all of this, but I would be absolutely remiss if I didn’t suggest that there are some Plugins out there that look just great, but are heartstoppers, like this one. I’m certain that they work for many, but I suppose there are many other factors that come into play with regard to themes, etc. I would also be lacking if I didn’t point out that there are also a number of Plugins that I’ve used successfully, so I guess this is just sort of a caveat emptor.
