Thanks, but do I need to block recaptcha prior to consent to be GDPR compliant?

If so then what’s the point of using recaptcha. If it’s blocked then the spam bots can just bypass it

Thanks for the advice. I have thought about and I have moved the two cookies to the Functional category.

Regarding the cookies I’ve added manually. These are not being picked up by the scan so I’ve added the service and cookies myself. I already posted in another thread to request these be added to the cookie database.

Hi

With the Github version I cleared cookies, but it will still not sync. It just gets stuck on this page like in the screenshot.

You are correct, there is no cookie placed. However, I loaded the demo page and safari is reporting that I’m being tracked by amazon-adsystem.com (see image linked below)

Hi, I checked before on my Laptop via wifi as well as on 4g connection on my iPhone and every article was blank. However I just checked back and it’s now all available!

Adding amazon-adsystem.com didn’t block the script, it was still being reported.

I’ve wrapped it in the short code as suggested and that hides the content as you said, so this works. But how do I tell my visitors about it to be GDPR compliant? As it’s not added as a cookie it’s not appearing on the cookie policy page.

Yes, would be good for an integration to be add to Complianz. I’m sure a lot of people must use Amazon affiliate links. The element is inserted with the following code:

Hi

The Github branch doesn’t work for me. The cookie sync seems to be running permanently so I see no cookies in the list, even though there is a yellow warning box telling me that sync is disabled.

“Synchronization disabled: This happens when all cookies have synchronized to cookiedatabase.org in the last week.”

Any ideas?

Actually I just installed a backup of my site and reinstalled the Complianz plugin and set it up again. This time I didn’t delete any cookies and I still saw this error. I have also noticed that the cookie presences switches on the cookie policy page disappeared after I received this PHP error. Any ideas what is causing this?
