In reply to: [Hueman] Nav bar stylesfigured it out. nav a {margin-bottom:-1px;}
the ::after contains a content:””; style and is pushing the height of the nav bar down 1 px.

In reply to: [Hueman] Love and hate this theme.Thanks for the info. Don’t get me wrong. The theme is pretty awesome. I have only been working with the PHP side of development for a couple of months. And after a lot of theme activating and de-activating I think there are some issues with plugins not being updated to work with WP 3.8. So hopefully some of the issues that I’m running across are part of that. like I said your theme got me 80% there. Now I’m just fumbling through the php and js scripts which I’m not so good at.
cheers.

In reply to: Text editor issuesI could have sworn that their use to be a Rule Line button as part of the kitchen sink. Very weird. But I’m also getting issues with wordpress injecting <p> around everything. The tags don’t show up in the HTML editor but when I publish the page they are there. 3.5.1 acts a little weird.

In reply to: [I-Agree] The terms pageWow I just tried making a page within my site and directing the required terms on the login panel and if you click on it you are logged into the site without a user or password.

In reply to: [WP Shortcodes Plugin — Shortcodes Ultimate] Compatibility issuesWell I’m not really complaining about things that are free. I’m on the learning end of the development game. I use plugins for the most part because I really don’t have the time to build all these things my self. But if I were building plugins and things that add cool functionality to wordpress I would want feedback. For the most part it would give me insight as to how something really gets used and what people really need. And if the need turns into something really big then there is the opportunity to create a plugin or function that people would be willing to pay for.
I really do hope that it can get figured out. If I were building something like this plugin I think I woud break it up into several plugins that do one or just a couple related simple task to cut down on compatibility issues.
For what it’s worth the plugin didn’t do anything destructive. I deactivated it and everything was fine. I think it might have been a matter of conflicts or similar functions in other plugins that I really do need to use.

In reply to: [WPsoonOnlinePage] Shortcodes don't workI think I was trying to use a couple of different contact form plugins. Jetpack, cformII and others. Basically I just didn’t want to have a construction page saying coming soon. And I didn’t want to have to tie anything to RSS feeds. I just wanted something very simple. And that was add a contact form to the page that would allow visitors for the brief time that the site was under construction to submit an email through the page. That’s was all. I ended up just building a page from the theme I was using and built a construction page with a form in it that had no header, footer or other content. So I didn’t really need a plugin after all.

In reply to: [Collapse-O-Matic] Default or Auto expand option?yep. In my haste to get the site done faster, I didn’t read the support doc far enough down.
Still an awesome plugin.
This would be a nice plugin if it didn’t cause so many other problems.

In reply to: [Rating-Widget: Star Review System] Won't load in Safari 5.0.5Here is the finished site. Well for now anyway. Rating widget does not seem to like Safari.
The widget just loads and loads but never finishes. Let me know if your seeing something different. I’m running Safari 5.0.5
It does seem to work on iphones/ipads.

In reply to: [Rating-Widget: Star Review System] Won't load in Safari 5.0.5Yeah same as before. The site is running much faster now but still not loading the ratings in Safari. Or at the very least it is taking forever to load.

In reply to: [Rating-Widget: Star Review System] Won't load in Safari 5.0.5No it’s still not working on my end. I’m doing a few more things to the site. Adding WP-optimize plugin and then I’m upgrading the the hosting server to a better hosting account that should help with speed. I’m hoping that will clear up some of the issues. The plugin works on my iPhone and has worked in the past on Safari.
