Hi Frank. Just an FYI that I also had trouble getting the new auto rules to fire (just sitting there with a “N”) after adding the API key. I did a search of the forum and followed some suggestions, deactivating and activating, etc. I then checked my cron jobs and the “ao_ccss_queue” cron was missing. I found a previous post with a similar issue and I added the cron as per these instructions. It’s probably my install but since this is beta, I thought I should let you know just in case. Cheers.

1. go to “tools” -> “cron events”
2. scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the “add cron event”
3. set hook name to ao_ccss_queue
4. set recurrence to 10 minutes (“Autoptimize CriticalCSS.com power-up cron”)
5. click on “add cron event”
6. check if indeed it appears in the list of events when you refresh the page

Not a problem. Best money I have spent and would recommend to anyone.

Yep. Did not even see that it needed an update. I guess it was not an auto updating plugin like the rest of them. Thank you Frank.

I was using 0.9.2 for the CCCS plugin. All the pages are now in the queue to be processed with home page pending and others showing as “job status new”.

I turned off CCCS and then added my API Key to AO. CCCS tab now shows no rules but I think they are updating once I visit a page. Looks like the problem was simply the API key missing.

Yes, I see that. Wait one. I think I see what the problem may be. With CCCS off, my API key is not installed. Let me find it and see if that fixes it.

The original source was from a lighthouse report and then I confirmed in the browser. I’ve rolled back my changes for now and will dig back in this week and keep you updated. Although it points to the AO.js, it appears to be an issue with jquery updater. Thanks to both of you for the comments.

It will update even though there are multiple above the fold css for all my landing pages through the subscription? Thanks Frank.

I don’t see anything specific in the css about lazy so I suspect that I should just give it a try and then test.

But to follow up, it seems very strange that AO doesn’t optimize /wp-admin/ but when clearing cache, the page displays correctly.

I should note, I am also using KeyCDN Cache Enabler.

OK. So I removed wp-content/cache/, wp-content/uploads/, admin-bar.min.css, from exclusions and now pretty much back to normal. Insights still not 100% but I do believe that’s mostly for above the fold and I will be emailing you soon about Critical CSS Pro Configuration. Should I wait to email until my cdn is set up? Cheers.
