In reply to: Can’t install any pluginsI have it active on a bunch of other sites and it’s working fine. I’ve tried the WP auto upgrade and can’t seem to get it to work on this or any site.
Any idea about the sexy bookmarks or sociable plugins? It seems like none of them are working.

In reply to: Email a postOkay. Thanks!

In reply to: Email a postI had put it in the index.php file like instructed, but I added it to single.php and that seems to work for all posts at the end now. Just need to add it for pages now…I deleted the code from the index.php. I guess I could add the [Email Link] code to each page but it would be nice if it did it automatically each time I create a new page.

In reply to: Email a postThank you – the tabs! Found and followed instructions. I partially got it. The “Email This Post” shows up for the posts on the pages and for the page itself, but it won’t show up on the pages that are “categories”. Here’s the site. The top nav links (except Home and About) are categories (not sure if that has anything to do with it).

In reply to: Email a postI think so. It allows you to email the post? I just tried to install and I got this error:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Widget’ not found in /vservers/annice/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-email/wp-email.php on line 1312
Okay. Thanks. I’ll give it a try.

In reply to: Transfer Geeklog to WordPressThanks Samboll and thanks for speaking up…it’s just that I’ve had such bad experiences in the past (rude moderators, no one replying, etc.) so I was really frustrated. Any tips or feedback on posting and getting replies or whatever would be welcome.
I appreciate your reply and the link.
I’m getting the same error. I followed the steps you recommended above except deleting log error file since I couldn’t find it (both sitemap files are in the root folder and I don’t see error log in that or the xml sitemap plugin folder):
It didn’t work. Now, I’m getting these errors in addition to the other error:
# There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable. Learn more

In reply to: WYSIWYG buttons not showing in Visual editorI spoke too soon! The Visual Editor is working for Admin but not for the other 2 Users (both “Editor” role). Still showing the white in text area and no toolbar. Strange….!!!! What could this be???
