I’ve added the event calendar to my google calendar, using subscribtion with the link https://mydomain.org/events/?ical=1

This works fine. It seems that google is updating the calender every 24 hours. So if i change an event, it takes some time until the calendar is updatet on google.

Additional Information:
– all Plug-ins and WordPress are up to date!
– the site language is german only
– no translation or localization plug-in is in use

i’ve just wrote yesterday about the same problem… in my eyes the problem is, that the permalinks on the event calendar settingspage are getting translated instead staying perma… As long as you use the navigation on the page it works, but as soon as you use the back button from the browser you’ll get Error 404 too…

I hope the guys will fix this link problem soon…

@aguseo No worries. I’ve expected that such a basic feature would be available in the free-version too… But it’s not a reason enough for me to buy the Plus version, because it’s the only feature i’m missing… thanks anyway.

@aguseo Thank you. According to the path this “feature” is only for the Plus-Version. I’m using the free one so far… ??

@aguseo Thank you. I’m using the Avada theme, so it looks like you’re right. Where will i find the code that shows this information? And is it shown within the events calendar? It’s not clear to me because both tickets and events are generating the single event page… Thanks for your help!

@geoffbel the snippet “sends email to organizer” worked for me when added to the themes function.php. Now i tried to move the snippet into the child-theme’s function.php and it stopped working… Any idea how to solve that issue?

That’s a feature i’m missing too! It would be even smarter to have a notification for the organizer when someone does a RSVP – if the event contains the organizer information. If not an email to the admin would be nice too…

meanwhilethe Avada-Team fixed the styling in version 5.1.5… and the button-problem as well.
