We rolled out some fixes we think will remedy that edit map problems, thanks for the feedback!

We think the edit problem might be actually due to a UX issue, when ever you create a new map on the list screen it is at the top, not the bottom. If you can replicate this issue let us know how we can replicate it.

Sorry you had these problems, we are going to take a look at it. Keep in mind you can crate plugins on scribblemaps.com/create/ and use the embed code directly.

We have something in the works to allow for map crowd sourcing, but currently you can’t open it up to all your users. You could direct them to scribblemaps.com/create/ and then have them forward you the ID.

All maps created with the plugin our stored on our system, so it doesn’t really matter where the ID comes from.

We fixed the bug with KML url loading, you show now be able to see your maps.

Which settings from there were you potentially interested in using?

The “map list” plugin is actually kind of an interesting idea, I am just trying to think of all the different use cases, and I think there is enough to justify adding that functionality to the current widget.

The reason I like this idea is because we get use a lot in the class room, and this would allow teachers to create a map list/dictionary of maps made by their kids, or a set of hiking trails.

Ya, we built it based on kimili, that page shouldn’t even be there. To add a map to your blog just click the icon under new post. We’re going to roll out a version without that settings page.

Thanks for the feedback, obviously going to be a little rocky as we get this going. They are all the same plugin, we just renamed them. We literally got this listed yesterday.

Where is this what is this link you are referring to, I can’t seem to find it, is it in the plugin, or in the control panel?

We just launched, and are working on getting it listed, however if you have an external wordpress blog you can install it now.

You can create a map with ScribbleMaps.com, and on save you will see a MapID just use that mapID with the plugin, alternatively you can just specify a KML URL. Hopefully we get it listed soon.
