hatteland, you can remove both advertisements at the bottom of the player, with both the shortcode and widget versions of this plugin.

If you’re using a shortcode to embed this player, add this code:

thumb_order="1" player_order="2"

You’ll be putting the thumbs in priority sequence, before the player.

I’ve embedded this plugin with a shortcode and have set it to 4 columns, with a thumb_width of 25%.

It reads: thumb_width=”25%”

If you’re using 3 columns, I’d assume you’d use 33% and it should work fine.
