This has solved the white screen for me, but the POD I had created is not working or showing anymore.

I have a “Company Name” meta added to the user page but it no longer appears or can be added it seems.

I want to have a drop down menu which shows the various jump to points on a page. This is a drop menu on a page not on a menu bar so the user does not need to scroll down older data.

I cant find any plugin for customizing drop menus or similar on a page.

I am using a table at the moment, which will rapidly fill up and become cluttered – I just need a selector like a drop down menu within the page.

Actually I solved it. It seems to be a problem with a facebook plugin – odd. The plugin is NextGEN Facebook Open Graph

Ah man that almost worked – it placed the extra field in there – but it shows “0” in the box – instead of the true user ID – other than that – it would appear to the be right way to go – it shows “0” regardless of which user profile I look at.

If I could fix that part – I am where I want to be.

Its not really an author info in a post as such I am trying to show – just want to insert some kind of membership number or any unique number for that matter into the User Profile – the user ID seemed a good place to start.

I can easily add an extra field using a plugin but all seem to be user based – where I want the number to be automatically assigned – and as USER ID is automatically assigned – it works well for the purpose – and cannot be changed – perfect. If I could get it to display as a field within the profile.

Make sense or have I just confused the world ??

OK – I think I found it – Firebug is not showing truly what is in the style.css – when I looked at the wapper div (in editor) in the style CSS it does indeed show what you stated.

I will get those affected to re-check the site now I have made the change.

Going forward – how did you read that code? As I say firebug showed a different code set – I guess it own interpretation of the code?
