Well you are in luck, because Decode 2.6 was just made live and it adds header image support in the customizer. It should be available in the WordPress updates screen soon.

Yeah, I’ll make sure both of those get added. Well 3.6 is out in any case and I still have plenty of things I want to develop on the theme so stay tuned for plenty of updates!

I have been planning on adding more social link options, I have a collection of social icons I’ve designed already for use, so I’ll be sure to add Soundcloud just for you.

The header image is something I’ve worked on in the past, but I found WordPress didn’t do a good job with uploading, storing, and updating the image so I’ve held off on adding this feature and I’ll reevaluate it when WordPress 3.6 is released, but I want to see this feature added as well.

If you are comfortable with adding the the theme files, you could add something to, say, the sidebar area if you choose, but I built in an easy way to share your social media presence, in the “Customize” menu under the appearance tab, there are options for adding links to your Twitter, Facebook, App.net and Google+ profiles. This adds a simple icon to the header of your site so your readers can easily access your profiles.

Please make sure you have the latest version of Decode as the most recent version fixes some of the social link functionality. And, as always, thank you so much for using my theme.

I found the issue. I’ll be pushing a fix later today. Sorry about that again, the fix will probably be here tomorrow depending on how long the review time was. The review time for 2.3.2 was 1 day.

Sorry about that, in 2.3 some of the settings have changed behind the scenes. Could you use the Theme Customizer and re-enter your Twitter username?
