Thanks all! I tried to switch the project to Modernizr 3 for feature detects, but that seems to be inconsistent. I moved it back down to 2.x and it will stay there for now. Thank you all for your patience.

What version of Android are you running?

I’ve been allowed to keep this supported for now, but the rules for the theme marketplace may change. There was talk within the review board that this was “plugin territory” and themes may not be able to allow this functionality because it wasn’t as secure as Jetpack’s implementation.

I’ve since changed the wording, but since many people have Jetpack installed, I recommend it because it is more secure because it bundles a library to porperly sanitize the user’s input.

Unfortunately no, that is all custom. You can use a custom CSS plugin to make it happen and make the animation. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all way to do it though.

There is a way to add a byline to the footer, but there is no widget area for the footer.

Several other languages have been implemented. To add a language, use a program similar to Poedit and download the translation template from here. This guide covers a few of the basics in better detail. If you want, I can include your translation in the next version of Decode as well for all to use. If you just want to use it personally, that is fine as well.
