In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] PAYPAL EXPRESS CHECKOUTHi @planeo8,
That error message name is unique to our plugin, but it means that the Express Checkout product was not enabled / unavailable in your specific PayPal account.
That’s the reason why I recommended you contact PayPal. There’s nothing that you are able to do other than contact them and ask why this is happening.
They should be able to let you know why Express Checkout is unavailable in your PayPal account, and possibly even enable it for you, depending upon your account situation.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] PAYPAL EXPRESS CHECKOUTHi @planeo8,
That would be an issue with your PayPal account. Not related to our software. I would recommend that you give PayPal customer service a call.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] USE EXISTING PAYPAL ACCOUNTHi @planeo8,
Thanks for the question, sorry that you’re having problems.Yes, it is a bit confusing. Please choose business account, then enter your existing business email address. On the next screen, it should ask you to login.
Please let me know if that doesn’t work or if you have any other problems.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Subscriptions & Memberships for PayPal] settings menu doesn’t workHi @civv,
Sorry that you’re having problems. I don’t fully understand your question.
It sounds like you’re having a problem with the admin menu? Please make sure the plug-in is fully updated. If that doesn’t solve it, this may be caused with a conflict from another plugin.
I don’t understand your second problem at all, unfortunately. Could you please explain a bit more about what’s happening?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Accept Donations with PayPal & Stripe] ERROR!!!Hi @sasa71,
I’m sorry that you had an error with our plugin. Ideally, this could have been resolved in a support ticket instead of a review. But I’d like to help solve this issue with you.
Can you please let me know what version of PHP you were using on your website? I’m thinking that that may be the issue.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] Coupon Code IntegrationHi @kylezam,
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, the Contact Form 7 – PayPal & Stripe Add-on plugin does not support coupons at this time.
Our Easy PayPal & Stripe Buy Now Button plugin does support coupons, but does not have the ability to collect form information.
I’m sorry to say, but I don’t have a solution for this at this time. I will make sure to make a note of this feature request and hopefully we can add it soon.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] “Price can’t be empty”Hi @paul-hartman,
Sorry for the delayed reply to this.
The plugin was using PayPal Standard before version 2.1, which supported passing 0.00 amounts and that allowed the user to enter whatever they wanted for the price.PayPal Standard is unfortunately being depreciated, so that means we had to move the plugin to now using PayPal Commerce. PayPal Commerce does not support this feature.
There are two options. Either you keep using version 2 of the plugin. It should continue to work fine without issue. Although PayPal Standard is depreciated, PayPal has not given any dates as to when it will actually stop working.
Our pro version does have a feature which allows passing a form field to the price (https://wpplugin.org/documentation/link-an-input-field-the-the-price/) – which would allow a user to enter a custom amount and that will get passed to PayPal Commerce.
I’m sorry that the way the plugin works has changed. I need to update the documentation in the plugin to better reflect this change, and for that I apologize for the inconvenience.
Let me know if I can be of more help or if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
ScottHi @janwill,
If I understand your question correctly, you want to link a text field in a post to the price in the plugin.
There is not a way to do this, with either our free or pro version. You will need to either make a different form for each page / post. Or you could have a dropdown menu in the form (this would be a lot easier).
If I didn’t understand your question correctly, let me know.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Easy PayPal & Stripe Buy Now Button] Buyer address not askedHi @33singes,
Just released the update now! It’s in version 1.8.3. Sorry for the delay. The setting is located on the Admin Settings page -> Shipping tab -> Shipping Options. Please note that this feature works with PayPal Connect, not with PayPal Standard.
I hope this is what you were looking for. Please consider leaving a review if you have enjoyed using our plugin.
If you have any other questions or problems, please let me know.
Happy New Years!

In reply to: [Easy PayPal & Stripe Buy Now Button] Buyer address not askedHi @33singes,
Yes, yesterday we did release a security fix update that took higher precedence. That needed to be thoroughly tested.
We are just completing the final testing now on the shipping feature for the free version and I hope we can release it in the next few days. Sorry about this and thanks for your patience!
Best,
ScottHi @thedrap,
Unfortunately, I’m not sure of an alternative way to handle that. Sorry I couldn’t help with this more.
Thanks,
ScottHi @thedrap,
We don’t have this feature in Stripe or PayPal. PayPal has a feature called Authorize, which allows you to take no money up front and bill at a later date, but it sounds like you want to collect money upfront and charge later if necessary.
There is a solution if you don’t mind charging customers manually. You can go to: https://dashboard.stripe.com/payments/new and charge any previous customers a one off payment. I think that would be what you need.
Hope that helps. If not, feel free to reply.
