In reply to: [Accept Donations with PayPal & Stripe] error message with updateHi @annews,
Just checked your page and see the error “The value cannot be zero.” also. That means you need to choose “Manual Entry” and set the price to 0.00That will make a button that looks like the below image, and will allow users to enter their own donation amount.
Let me know if you need more help!Forum: Reviews

In reply to: [Accept Donations with PayPal & Stripe] Partial-Dollar amountsClosing this for now, but if you still have issues let me know.
Best,
ScottHi @akshunthapa,
Thanks for the question. Dynamic amounts are feature of the paid version. The free version only lets you set fixed amounts. Yes, you can do this with Stripe.
I hope that helps. If you have any problems or questions please let me know.

In reply to: [Accept Donations with PayPal & Stripe] Partial-Dollar amountsHi @wpsites1,
Thanks for the question. You should be able to enter amount as 43.50 without an issue. Any amount in the format 00.00 should be allowed.
Please make sure that you’re not entering a currency symbol before or after the amount.
I attached a screenshot below showing this. Please also make sure that you’re using the latest version of the plugin. If you continue to have problems, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help you out more.

ScottHi @acjohnson1985,
I just released version 1.4.2 which adds this image feature! Please note that this will only work with PayPal Standard. For the past hour I tried to get it working with PayPal Commerce as well, but it’s not a supported feature by PayPal. I tried seeing if it was possible to make it work using CSS for PayPal Commence buttons, but it does not provide consistent results.
I hope that helps and you are able to continue using the plugin. If you able to to change your review, it would be very much appreciated!
Best,
ScottHi Aaron (@acjohnson1985),
Sure, I’ll add it to the plugin right now and release a new version tonight.
If you can please consider changing your review, that would be really helpful!
Thanks,
ScottHi @acjohnson1985,
I’m really sorry that this error happened to your website. So far we’ve had 25,000 downloads of the new version and this is the only report that I’ve had for this issue. We thoroughly tested upgrading from the previous version to the new version to make sure that nothing broke during upgrading.
Perhaps some other plugin on your site caused this conflict, and that resulted in this issue.
It’s always tough to see reviews like this because I really have put my heart into making this plugin a success. This version of the plugin I worked on for the past 6 months. If there’s anything I can do to help, please let me know.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] Change TitleHi @ozil23,
Unfortunately, that is on PayPal’s end and and there’s no way to change it. Sorry about that!
Best,
ScottHi @fraughtithrouble,
PayPal Standard is going away. For any plugin that wants to have a PayPal integration, it has to use PayPal Commerce, there is no other options.
You’re review is unfair and 6 months of hard work went into developing this version of the plugin. Please consider changing your review.
