any other suggestions for why i cant get anything to display when i uploaded

if i kept my old wp-content folder with my plugins I had before, that couldn’t have hurt it at all would it?

what do you mean by plugin manager, is it the folder where the plugins are stored

i dont believe i have plugin manager

im using secure copy to upload the files and they are in the write directory for the server
i can read the html files in my server directory

now i just get the blank screen, and when i look at the source code it doesn’t show much of anything

I deactivated plugins, deleted word for word
what permissions should i give the files and folders?
I can’t see the .htaccess in wp-directory but how do you see if it is hidden in a linux box?

I got a permission denied in wp-admin/upgrade.php. 403 forbidden error

is there a way we could do this through email instead of on here

doesn’t look like my web server is using php anymore for some reason, directions on how to get it workign again would be nice. I reloaded the server and same thing happens, the blank screen. Even my test php doesnt come up anymore

i tried to get my old one back and i get the same result
