In reply to: [Mail logging - WP Mail Catcher] Log viewer showing HTML encoded messageI prefer to respond here and can reproduce this issue reliably on my staging site with default theme and only this plugin active (v 2.1.3). If I roll back to version 2.1.2, there is no issue.
Screen shots and source files are available, if you require, but I have pinpointed where the error is occurring. To be clear, the issue is in the modal window where email log is viewed (browser is Firefox but I doubt that matters).
Within the iFrame, there are <html><body> elements (always have been) but version 2.1.3 introduced an entirely new document (<!DOCTYPE html>) inside the <body> which causes an overflow. The result is that I see raw html output to the modal window.
Please advise.
I had the same issue, rollback via FTP upload resolved it. Two additional details of note:
1. Main admin had no access to view orders (empty list) but another user with Shop Manage role was [apparently] not impacted.
2. Customer complained, “Locked out of using the coupon and can’t reset my password” suggesting there might be some impact on front end as well. This is speculative and possibly a user issue.
I believe the problem is between my chair and the keyboard. Please disregard this inquiry.

In reply to: [Virtue] Excess white space in transactional emailsThe problem belongs to MailPoet, thanks!

In reply to: [Virtue] Excess white space in transactional emailsI was wrong, MailPoet was not enabled at the time of my “successful” test. MailPoet and Virtue theme have a clear conflict that is making my transactional emails look terrible.

In reply to: [Virtue] Excess white space in transactional emailsUpdate: I brought my staging site current, which included an update of Virtue theme [downloaded today] and was unable to reproduce the problem.
Using my FTP client, I moved the Virtue theme files from staging to live site and the issue is resolved there.
Either I had some files in a weird condition following update of the theme last week, or something changed about the theme.
Thanks for looking at it, Hannah!

In reply to: [Virtue] Excess white space in transactional emailsWelp. Prior to posting this question, I disabled MailPoet plugin and reproduced the white space problem by re-sending a new order email to myself.
However, I just did this same test again – with an extra clearing of my cache thrown in – and the resulting email looks ok.
Odd that the emails look fine with MailPoet active but in a different theme. It appears the issue is a combo of the two; Virtue and MailPoet … I’ll have to get my staging site up to date and do some more tinkering.
Thanks for the reply. I viewed the Subscribers section, as directed, and found subscribed users who are not subscribed to any lists. For practical purposes, what does “subscribed” mean in this case?
The tip text says the count is “the total of subscribed, unconfirmed and inactive subscribers …. The count excludes unsubscribed”. My assumption is/was that a user who is not subscribed to any list is unsubscribed. Or “inactive”, at least. Bottom line is, Mail Poet Sending Service is not servicing these users, why does their presence add value to my use of Mail Poet?
It is a certainty that my site will legitimately exceed the 1000 subscriber limit and trigger a paid subscription … but I’m having trust issues with this product right now and questioning my continued dependence on it.

Adding clarity from Rackspace:
“Having multiple DKIM records shouldn’t be an issue. In fact, it’s a basic expectation where you send from more than one place. The issue here would be if you’re signing both from where you’re sending rather than one signature at a time, and that’s what I’m seeing in [your screen cap].
“You should have one signature for each platform you send from, so it’s some sort of misconfiguration causing multiple signatures to reflect in one message.”
Same. OS is Windows 10 and I have duplicated the issue in Firefox and Chrome. Mailpoet version is current, as are browsers.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Unable to stop scheduled backupsThe “Next scheduled backups:” section clearly shows a backup scheduled each day.
I changed the scheduling from ‘Manual’ to ‘Monthly’ and saved.
After which the next scheduled backup showed as a few minutes in the future so I changed the scheduling from ‘Monthly’ back to ‘Manual’ and saved.
The “Next scheduled backups:” section showed no scheduled backup.
Almost immediately, a backup started and when it finished there was then a backup scheduled for next month.
I returned to the Settings page, changed the schedule to ‘Weekly’ then back to ‘Manual’ and saved. The scheduled backups appear to be cleared now.
This behavior is not as expected but I have a better understanding of how to work around the issue now.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Unable to stop scheduled backupsYes, I clicked “Save Changes” a week ago. When I go back in to view the settings, both File and Database backups show they are set to Manual.

In reply to: [TI WooCommerce Wishlist] Plugin has stopped workingIssue resolved after I uninstalled and reinstalled plugin. Any idea what could have lead to this issue and how I can avoid it (or fix it without losing wishlists) in the future?
