Can I re-open this string. I updated to the latest WordPress 3.2 today and now my widgets won’t open, my media pallets won’t slide open, all in the admin panel.

I also updated to the latest version of Buddy Press to see if that fixed it based on the above, and no luck.

I turned off a bunch of plugins to see if that would fix it.

I tried Chrome and Explorer and both are doing the same thing.

items will not expand; but the wordpress menus work fine; not media when inserting images and not widgets to make changes or adding widgets

Wow, same problem and deactivating the GA Visits fixed it… bizarre. Thanks all!!!!

oh look I am back here again. Thought it was fixed but working on it again. grr… why would you make a plug-in for one theme again?

Just delete the function in the theme? Care to give some steps how to so this? I am going to take a look, but how limited is it that you built this for ONE THEME?????

Thinking like that just gives me gas.

I am going to see if I can edit this function out on my own, but can you please post some feedback on how to accomplish this and maybe hit me up at [email protected] , please?

Okay, well I did not read everything, but DJ Steve’s solution worked for me. I changed the permissions on the

/wp-content/plugins/si-captcha-for-wordpress/captcha-secureimage/captcha-temp/

folder to 777 and it seems to be working now.

Same problem here as djSteve … disabled SI captcha and error stopped appearing.

Will try your fix or go with a different plugin… grrr

okay, I am a horrible liar… I just did 3 test users in a row an had no problems… grr… why are my people having a hard time signing up? – rhetorically delivered as I am still exploring the problems. Thanks anyway.

I am having this exact problem right now. I made a test user and got the email asking me to click the authentication link and I got a box saying authentication failed, please enter activation code. I copied the activation code itself and it did not recognize it; looping back to the same red box.
