decided to uninstall it and try something else. i had a lot invested in this gallery, but it is nothing but a problem.

BuddyPress 1.8 / WordPress V 3.6 (upgraded today) / with Contact Form 7

NextGen Gallery 2.0 is causing my site to default solely to the landing page of the site and the problem goes away then it is deactivated. This was before and after the overall site upgrade from the latest version before this versions of WP.

Short codes for gallery leave a mess of html where the gallery should be, BUT the widget is working just fine???

So, these are all the notes I have on it and wondering if there is a solution before I seek out another option?

Thanks @wickedmike for starting this thread. I am reading through this subject. I noticed the more visible some of my sites get the more they get those fake subscribers. I cannot seem to find a plugin or means of removing them/blocking them from registering. My 2 most attacked sites need to have open registration as they are active social networking environments.

I did find an interesting article for WP security and most of it was helpful. BUT it does not prevent spam registrations.

If I left the door wide open I wold be so screwed. My setting seem to be much like yours.

Same problem here but only on my registration page. Shows up for login okay.

Applied test, all seems okay.

reinstall plugin

I had to remove and reinstall the plugin. Sorry I only just saw your reply. Seems like plugins are the source of most problems. Grrr

Following an upgrade this problem cleared up with 3.2.1

Okay, I had to deactivate that plugin for now. Seems like in your error you have the same one installed. Good luck and please post a reply and let me know how it wors or not. You might go with the Askimet instead…?

Look in your Tools section and see Sabre there… do you have this plugin? I am looking around and it might be your issue. I’ll look more but you may have to remove the plugin or adjust settings.

I have a user registering who got this too. I just upgraded to the latest in WP 3.2.1. Other than previously reported problems his is new.

Seems to possibly be related to the database?

I usually find so much good help here, but I am just lost on what to do with this problem. I am begging for help… begging.

I started reading through this string about this complete disaster with the 3.2 upgrade and the people that should be helping sound so condescending it is sickening.

We’re here looking for guidance – not attitude.

All of my sites are jacked up from this upgrade. No widget access, nothing will expand. I will continue reading, but the snotty remarks and attitudes are annoying.

This is my 2nd complain on the same thing I am adding to this string… I can’t access any of my widgets. I can’t add images though the media tool. Nothing will expand.

Can we get a comprehensive answer to this problem asap, PLEASE…. ALL the sites that got this update are jacked up. This is causing me a lot of problems.

I appreciate what this product does and the ability to access the way we can but I feel really sucker punched over this new version. Please fix.
