that’s a good point. I’m not visually impaired myself but I’d imagine because FEE has elements floating over the page, these won’t be noticed by screen readers. So, ideally, a link on the page would be available for the person to click, which then refreshes the page, which has an editor added into the page which is also WAI-ARIA accessible. Or something like that. Does this help?
But IMHO it would be nice to have functional consistency, e.g. if permalinks replace spaces with underscore, then it should do the same for dots, not just remove them.
This problem with the suffix for images still exists in 2.6. I thought it might have got sorted, but any ideas on what code I need to change in media.php to get this fixed? I’d like to revert to the old way of naming images, e.g. *.thumbnail.jpg
