I think i have done it! using the fix you have just posted it seems to be working now.

I tried that, but i only have 59 lines in my media-upload.php

My theme folder already has no spaces in between letters.

I have disabled all my other plugins, but i don’t have any other gallery plugins anyway.

And no, i haven’t done any customization to my default image gallery.

Vova – yes i tried to activate the plugin for excerpts with no luck.

Yet previously i have had help from other members of these forums who are just happy to help and give some useful input.

I’ve browsed through a lot of old posts and theres a hell of a lot that get a link from a mod which to someone like myself who has limited knowledge on a topic is practically useless and difficult to understand.

This post is now completely off topic, i appreciate you and other mods are just volunteers and are not obliged to help, but i post many of my queries at Elegant Themes first and its rare i get a response, so i turn to these forums hoping for some help…

Ok if I can’t get some help on my current commercial theme then maybe on the following.

I have been trying for 6 hours now to get my recent posts on a static home page, it’s just not going to happen for me.

Is there another way of setting a page as home page? Obviously as a normal page i can haven page content and the recent posts underneath no problem, and as soon as I set it to static home page the posts disappear.

Any suggestions?

Theres quite a few posts on this where people have helped out and they had commercial themes.

I’m not asking to help keep themes vendors in business, i just want some personal help.

Really wanted to get this sorted ??
