I install and activated the plugin: Parse Shortcodes before Formulas.
Then added your formula:

=${NUMBER_FORMAT([table-cell id=105 row=12 column=2 /],0)}

and got the following error message:
$!ERROR! illegal character ‘[‘

Any thoughts on if the formula is missing something? Thank you

Just FYI. I downloaded WP Crontrol and it worked perfectly. I found the scheduled cron event for tablepress_table_auto_import_hook and did a RUN NOW and the tables updated immediately. Again. Thank you!

Ok. Thank you very much for your help and suggestion. I will explore all of them.

I get no error messages. Can this be set to an exact time, that way if it cannot update immediately, I can set the time to update perhaps a minute or two later.
