In reply to: [Related Posts by Sovrn] Related posts only showing one post nowOops – I found the problem.
WP Bitly was conflicting with it after I updated the plugin. Hoping the author of that plugin will update it to resolve whatever said issue is. Sorry to trouble you guys!

In reply to: [Related Posts by Sovrn] Related posts only showing one post nowAlright so I’ve realized that this problem only affects my regular posts, and not my custom posts. Any suggestions?

In reply to: [Related Posts by Sovrn] Related posts only showing one post nowI’m using wordpress 3.9.1, and the only plugins that I’m using that chance the core theme in any way are:
WP-pagenavi (which just converts the page buttons a bit)
Dynamic widgets (which just lets me choose when they pop up)
… and that’s it I think.I could give you the list of all my plugins, the next thing I was going to try would be deactivating each one and see which one may or may not be the problem.
The problem is I didn’t notice this until a day or two ago and now it’s affecting all of my posts, so I’m not sure when it started exactly, and which plugin may have affected it.

In reply to: [Related Posts by Sovrn] Related posts only showing one post nowHey Silvo!
Here are the screencaps for my settings:

https://imgur.com/iQmrvBk,0rH1H0P#1Nothing special, I used the vertical medium theme and haven’t touched the CSS. I also didn’t use the automatically embed beneath posts option, because it put it into a weird spot in my articles (as there is a lot of stuff below the content), so I used the custom shortcode:
<?php wp_related_posts()?>
Which was working beautifully, and it automatically grabbed posts from my site. By choosing posts manually, I did mean clicking the orange button and going in to choose related posts manually, and adding them to the article. That doesn’t seem to be working now either.
I don’t really use that many plugins aside from cross posting plugins for FB/Twitter/etc, and a few layout changing plugins, but those are only for the desktop mode. Again thank you so much for looking into this.
Oh and here’s an update.
So deleting that code actually removed the tags on my one custom theme template. When I couldn’t remember what line it was on another PC, I simply just replaced it with a backup file that wasn’t touched and it everything was ok. Fixed???
Hey,
My website is Niche Gamer, and I deleted a bit of code from that line and the error went away. I’m thinking the custom theme that I’ve been using just had some bad or garbled code.
When I activate the two custom post types my website has, they just 404, and suddenly the settings page unchecks them as well? Is it that custom post types are not supported in the free version? If this is the case I’ll be glad to pony up to the paid version, as this theme has been amazing so far.

In reply to: [GamePress] Removing the solid divider in the footer?I figured it out.
Rather, the only way I could figure out how to remove the line, was to delete the content-inner div within the main index template. This seemed to not affect anything else, it only removed the giant line border that takes up the entire width of the screen.

In reply to: [Custom Login] New users keep getting redirectD’oh, you’re totally right.
I have so many plugins running I forgot that I had another that would let me create a custom login URL that would redirect the traditional one to the index. It kept giving me issues and there isn’t really a fix in sight, so I disabled it.
Yours works like a charm though, thankfully!
Ah ok I see – I wasn’t sure. Thank you so much for responding to me ??

In reply to: [XPoster - Share to Bluesky and Mastodon] Fatal Error After 2.8.4 UpdateOh awesome – I was worried it was just me ??
Thank you so much for such an excellent plugin, I swear by it and recommend it to any other WP users I know.
Excellent thank you ?? Again thank you so much for an awesome and easy to use slider!!
I use Chrome pretty much exclusively, but it does this in both Chrome and Firefox.
I was thinking that it was due to my site’s theme being a bit slow, but I was wondering if you had any suggestions on a cache plugin to start with?
Again thank you so much for your time!
It’s there for me as well. It’s really annoying, and I see no reason why it was shoehorned in.
I’m having the same issue. It was working beautifully and now I’m consistently getting the error on each post. My twitter posts are only the title and the bitly shortening of the URL, very below the 140 character maximum. I guess I’ll have to get an older version for now? :\
