In reply to: [WP Advent] Problems after installationGood morning Maggie,
debugging this from the distance is Not easy.
Are you familiar with using the Developer Tools of a browser? You can open them by right-clicking on the page and choosing ?Inspect Element“ or something similar in Firefox or Chrome.
Please do so before choosing an image. After trying to choose, take a look at the ?console“-tab in the Developer Tools. Of there any red error-messages please copy them for me.

In reply to: [WP Advent] Problems after installationHi Maggie,
is there some kind of errormessage when you select the image?
I don’t think there is any relation to the size of the original image. But choosing one that is about 1000px wide would be enough.
I’ve been testing the plugin with many different themes, but your problem never occured to me. Is it downloadable somewhere, so that I could try it out?

In reply to: [WP Advent] Contact Form 7 inside lightboxI second what @dominikschwind-1 wrote. Have a look at the “ajax-powered submitting”-feature of Contact Form 7.

In reply to: [WP Advent] How to make the lightpox responsive?@retsamys thanks for your work.
By default, colorbox (the lightbox) is not responsive in the version we are using. I’ve made an note to update the lightbox soon.

In reply to: [WP Advent] lightbox doesn’t stayRegina,
please excuse the late reply. I’m sorry but I don’t have an idea.
You might check why the slider-plugin is loaded on the page with the calendar. It seems as if it is not needed there.Best,

In reply to: [WP Advent] lightbox doesn’t stayRegina,
my name is Martin, I’m more the frontend-guy here. ??
Do you have another lightbox-plugin running? WP Advent comes with its own Colorbox.
Did you deactivate all other plugins? It seems as if some code (most likely some Javascript) is redirecting to the page.
Best,

In reply to: [WP Advent] Changing Layout and moreMats,
the layout of the calendar is designed to be working in as many different themes as possible. That’s why the background is so flexible: It has to fit in calendars of many different sizes and scales. At the moment I can’t think of a solution that would be that flexible.
I’ll have a look in your suggestion of giving the numbers a more solid background. Would you prefer that on every tile or just the already activated?
Best,

In reply to: [WP Advent] Probleme with menusThierry,
I’m sorry, but I don’t understand your problem, as the plugin does not provide a menu or a slider. It would be very helpful, if you could provide a link to your page.
