I have exactly the same issue here…
A cool plugin in deed and we use it mainly for PDF-viewings.
We are a national certification authority for technician in agronomy. They need to read and download our PDF-Dokuments (most of them are important guidelines). Many times the pages stays blank and don’t show the linked PDF. This is a very big problem for us!
Do you have any findings about this issue? It is pretty urgent meanwhile…
