Yes Falang has a specific addon’s for Divi , so you can edit directly the translation in the Divi modules.
You’re site need to be done with Falang , did you migrate your data from qtranslate-XT to Falang
Of course make this on a dev site before.

I have worked with Alexander to make the custom attribute working and it’s almost working.
But I recommand to use actually the global attribute and not the custom,
It’s easier.

The “Custom product attributes” used for Variations are stored in the product meta name
“_product_attributes”
Actually you are right it’s not possible to translate it

yes you can delete it after the dutch is installed.
You have to edit the language and you will see a delete button.

In a next Falang release i will add a publish/unpublish language. so you don’t have to remove it. And you can prepare a new language before publishing it in front-end.

You have really to try any plugin in a test site before. The site should work with the same php version. (better if it’s the same hoster too)

With Falang you have 2 others plugins for page builder.
Elementor and Divi.

i have installed locally site origin page builder. i will look what i can do but actually the only way to translate page done with this page builder is to duplicate the page for each language.

Hi,

The default language installed is en-US. Actually i don’t detect the languages files installed to add all language dynamicly.

In your case , you have just to add the Dutch language and set it as default language.
In falang set in the settings to not add slug for the default language.
With this configuration the site work for default language like before.

You can change the slug it’s used in front-end for your site url but not the locale it’s used internally and it’s depends of the language pack installed.

I recommand to always install mutlilanguage plugin on test site before.

The problem with other multilanguages plugin is polylang not WPML. The problem with polylang is solved when completly removed.
I will start next week a tool for WPML migration (actually only qtranslateX)

You can contact me and i can assist you to configure properly falang but it’s easy only the default language need to be add in your case.

ex for the content in french meta the meta key is
_fr_FR_post_content
_fr_FR_post_title
and check the
fr_FR_published is set to 1 (for published item only)

3) No the plugin don’t save user language for the order.

1) product not visible
The problem is when the menu item was set to the shop page ,it was not working but if you change the menu item to “all products” all is working fine. this small problem will be solved in a next release
2) 404
You are right when you save the woocommerce settings, you have to save the permalink too or i can make problem. i don’t know if it’s a new problem due to wc 4.9.1
This problem will be fixed in the next Falang release 1.3.8

Thansk for all the info you send me but i was not possible to reproduce the problem. perhaps a permalink problem solved with a new save ?

Here is what i have done to reproduce the problem

Hi,

1 -Install wordpress (english version)
2 – install Falang > activate it
3 – Add spanish language (default en_US)
4 – Translate the Hello world page to spanish translation published
5 – add falang widget in the footer 1 (only flag)
6 – check the language switch on front-end from default to spansih => 404 => save permalink in backend to fix this => ok
7 – Install elementor / activate
8 – Create an elementor test page only with heating
9 – change the Reading wordpress param to set the homepage to this elemntor page
10 – check en and es version , work all dispayed in english
11 – Install Falang for Elementor lite /activate
12 – edit with elementor this page translate the heading text “Add Your Heading Text Here” to “A?ade tu texto de encabezamiento aquí” in the heading widget.
13 – check in front-end , it’s working correctly
14 – enable the “Delete all translations when Falang is uninstalled” in falang
15 – Deactivate and delete falang and falang for elementor
16 – going to home page elementor => displayed normally in english with elementor widget.
