By default, the dropshipping feature is not available in Dokan. If you want to connect stores from other platforms to your Dokan-powered marketplace, it may require advanced customization, such as creating APIs to exchange data between your marketplace and other platforms.
Besides, the free version of the Dokan plugin is not officially integrated with any third-party plugin that can help you achieve this. In my opinion, contacting a professional developer to create a custom plugin based on your requirements would make more sense.
Cheers!
Hi @miminou
Adding product attributes from the vendor dashboard is unavailable in Dokan lite. It is important to understand that we are not allowed to discuss anything related to commercial products here in this forum. To know more, you can take a look at the Forum Guidelines.
However, you can contact the Dokan team through their official Support Channel for further discussion.
Cheers!
Hi @woomignan
By default, the feature to add more than one bank account from the seller dashboard is unavailable in Dokan. However, if you want to add more fields to the default bank payment settings template, you can override the
bank-payment-method-settings.php
file in your child theme. You can get this file from thewp-content\plugins\dokan-lite\templates\settings
directory. If you are not familiar with overriding Dokan’s template file, you can take a look at this third-party article.
Thanks!
Hi @mor3311,
If you disable guest checkout and account creation for new users during checkout from the WooCommerce -> Settings -> Accounts & Privacy option, users will be asked to log in to be able to checkout as shown in this screenshot. It seems to be working as expected on my end. However, if you are experiencing issues, you can try changing your theme or look for a conflict by following this third-party article. If you are still facing issues, contacting the Dokan team from their Support Channel may help you get a quicker solution.
Moreover, WooCommerce does not have a default feature to restrict users from viewing products without logging in. If you want, you can try the WooCommerce for Logged-in Users plugin to restrict users from viewing products without logging in.
Cheers!
Hi @brakovka
I hope that you’re doing well.
The “Shop Manager” user role actually comes from WooCommerce which does not have the capability of editing a “user”. Since “Vendor” is also a user in WordPress, a “Shop Manager” cannot edit a Vendor. To know more about the “Shop Manager” user role and its capabilities, kindly follow this link.
However, Dokan allows a “Shop Manager” to edit information related to a vendor’s store from the backend. As this feature is unavailable in the free version of Dokan, I am unable to discuss it further as per the Forum Guidelines.
For further information, you can contact the Dokan team from here.
Thank you. ??
Hi @menni50
Thanks for sharing your concerns. I hope that you’re doing fine. ??
1. By default, there’s a filter form on the “store-listing” page that can help you search for specific vendors. However, the product searching feature is not available in the free version of Dokan and so I’m unable to discuss it further as per the Forum Guidelines.
If you want to know how the product searching system works in Dokan, you can take a look at this documentation.
Here’s a screenshot that shows where you can search for a store on the “store-listing” page.
2. There’s a default way of determining the number of stores shown in a row by using a shortcode like this –
[dokan-stores per_row=2]
. However, the feature to determine the total number of stores shown on the “store-listing” page is unavailable by default. If you want to achieve this, it will require proper customization. For further information, you can contact the Dokan team here.
Thank you! ??
Hi @planttradr
Thank you for sharing your concern. However, as the Dokan PayPal Marketplace feature is not included in the free version of Dokan, the matter cannot be discussed on this public forum as per the Forum Guidelines.
I’d recommend you contact the Dokan support from here for better guidance. Hopefully, the Dokan team will look into it and respond soon.
Thanks!
Hi @drakon09
By default, the feature to add commission to a product based on it’s attributes is unavailable in Dokan. So, if you want to apply attribute based commissions, you may need to go through proper customization and make changes to the core files of Dokan.
Since the feature you’re looking for requires customization, Dokan Support Team may not be able to assist you as per their Support Policy.
I hope you will find this information helpful.
Thanks!
