I’ve returned to my previous plugin, Stout Google Calendar. For some reason, this plugin wasn’t showing properly after the latest WordPress update, but I just reinstalled it, and (somehow) it works perfectly.

For now, I have decided to adjust the number of days of which events are to be shown. The problem is, however, that when there are many events in the next say three days, the list is (too) long) and when there are no events, no events are shown. So this is not the ideal alternative.

I do hope the developers will have a look at this issue, else I have to look for another plugin.

I just noticed that the problem occurs as soon as I set the ‘Maximum Events’ to smaller number (in my case, 5 instead of the default 1000). This does not help much, since I do not want an exhaustive list on my homepage, only a few upcoming events. But perhaps this knowledge may help solve the problem?

Same problem here. Any help is welcome…

Yes, I’ve tried to start the backup process four times.
With two other websites it worked succesfully. In the meantime I decided to update WordPress to version 3.4.1 anyway, but still no luck with the backup..
