First screenshot is what it looks like on the blog itself. Second one, with no Austria postcard image, is what comes through in my email. Third one is how it looks within my gmail inbox. I’m starting to think it may be the Apple server? My email is routed from gmail to Mail on my mac.

WAIT: No images are attached because when I try to add an image it says “add from URL”? I just want to send you screenshots!

Hi Tamirat! I JUST saw your note. (I had lost faith that anyone would respond!) I do not have updates. But I will send images of the issue as it comes into my email. The issue exists for some, not all. I’ll be right back with imagery.

While I’m waiting for Jetpack to respond (it’s been nearly 4 days now), is there another source you recommend looking into for email subscription/ generation with a self-hosted WP site? Or do you think JP is still the way to go.

Thank you, James! I do understand that Jetpack, not WordPress, provides the email subscriptions…. but … A.) I’ve been using the same format / configuration for years (keeping things updated, of course) without this kind of odd stuff happening, and B.) Jetpack is not responding to my inquiries. I’ll keep trying.

Yes this is the first time it’s happened (over many years). And yes, I deleted and re-added the widget. Also, I DID recently update the theme (not changed / updated), so I sent a support ticket to my theme people. That said, it still feels like a plugin issue and yes it’s very odd!!

The only other thing I can think that might relate to this is that FB did some kind of update to pages, connecting them to your personal profile and instagram account – and that change only seemed to affect this particular page that’s now not showing up here.
Hmmmm. I’ll see if I can revert the FB page back to classic mode (or whatever it was before).

That’s probably it, James. My programmers built the site. I know my way around a WP dashboard but not the coding. JetPack is installed – is that where I should be looking to “save an icon?” (Sorry to appear daft, here)

and if it matters, we’re actually running WP Version 4.1.2

Hmmm. Is anyone here? UPDATE: A friend had me check the “primary menu” box which DID allow the nav. label to change to “home” – HOWEVER, this made the entire nav. menu fall on two lines instead of one, despite it being much shorter. How to fix?

Also:

1. how to make the footer (where I’ve placed copyright info) CENTER on the bottom of page – as it is, no matter which footer widget I use, it stays flush left.

2. the theme says it’s fully responsive, but it’s not working well at all – ie;, no nav bar, for one thing. (viewing on iPhone 4s)

Any help here would sure be appreciated!
