I tried fiddling around with what was on https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/graphicalcss/content/index.html but maybe you can tell me where I am going wrong.

What I would like is to simply increase the area of the posts which is under step 6 of the link to be same size as the “top margin”, which is area 1. But there is no styles.css for the top margin.

or put it another way, the posted text in step 6, i want it to cover the entire white box as listed in the diagram. any words of wisdom?

in permallinks it says to use /archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

where do I put that in the above code info?

I have a backup of the old archives and upload the old archives folder to my new host site blogs folder exactly as it was before. Do you know what to do next?

If you do can u plz give me a detailed step by step instuctions, im a little new to this stuff.

On your desktop, create a new folder called “WP files”. Into this, download the following files

index.php
wp-comments.php
wp-comments-popup.php
wp-layout.css

are the instructions, but I cant seem to find wp-comments.php
wp-comments-popup.php . Does anyone know where they would be?
