Yes – it says complete.

The student says:

Autoptimize was a new installment and installed first. It was directly after installation I decided to do some “smushing.” So I contacted Smush & Divi – my theme.

I worked it out on my site – it was the Autoptimize plugin. Once I deleted the plugin, the site returned to normal. SOrry Smush people!

The same has happened on my site. I ran SMUSH, and then did a further smush of the database which severely effected 1/2 my site.

The images in the theme where missing, and now I am looking at having to spend a week having someone go through and revisit 200 pages!!!!

I am so annoyed.

I know little about such things, so I don’t pretend to be any sort of expert or guru. However, what I do know, is that when I changed my theme, the problem disappeared.

I wish no offense to the theme author, as the theme is very pretty, hence why I picked it in the first place.

My wordpress version, on all my sites, in always the current version, as are all plugins, and caching stuff (or Hostgator gets very upset.)

So perhaps a plugin, a theme, or I dunno.

Google says the theme is NOT mobile ready! I am so angry I wasted my time on this theme. Blocked Javascript, CSS and file images!! and this is because the site robots.txt file disallows crawling of these assets which hurts Google’s algorithm vendor and index the content.

Time for a theme change and quick!!!
