Have you tried calling support to see if they can provide you with some help, you could use the excuse that you are testing the free product before you move up the paid one and if the free does not work properly why would you ever want to pay for the other version. This might get give them the push they need to help you.

I always test the technical support, because the sales support can be ohhh so nice and when it comes to a problem the tech guys can really suck. This is why I chose blue host, i spoke to their tech dept several times before signing up to see if they knew their stuff and to my surprise they did. Also how could i go wrong at 3.95 a month. Before that i had a horrible service hosting solutions, the worst of the worst. the sales pitch was good but tech support was well to put it nicely crappy and they did not even have a C panel.

It could be quite expensive to have your own server, but off course that is the best option

I tried various hosting services some were rotten but others were not bad. I think the ones that are high up the are blue host, dream host and I think gator hosting. Blue host was running an incredible 50% special, check and see if its still there. I moved one of my sites to blue host to test it out and then set up 6 blogs that are hosted on blue host and have had no problems.

If the hosting company won’t help you the best thing to do is get rid of them as i did. You can also do a simple Google search to find other good hosting companies

Sometimes the free version can be a pain in the rear. Try the paid version and see if anything changes. I know a friend who was having the same problem and when he used the paid version, problem vanished.
