Most don’t even notice.

After more investigation.

When I am on the admin panel of any of the de or el sites, keep pressing the Clear cache repeatedly, the message is cache cleared but nothing happens.

When I am on the admin panel of the main site(en), by pressing the Clear cache only one page is cleared at a time, so if I click many times, many pages are cleared.
So let’s say there are 400 pages, I must click the Clear cache button 400 times for the files to go…

The cache directory structure is
wp-content/cache/cache-enabler/domain.com/ where are the pages of the English site
wp-content/cache/cache-enabler/domain.com/de/ where are the pages of the German site
wp-content/cache/cache-enabler/domain.com/el/ where are the pages of the Greek site

exactly as is the structure of the network

Have you been able to confirm this is actually occurring by expanding the wp-content/cache/cache-enabler directory to see if the site in question is not being cleared?

If yes, I have a few questions to troubleshoot this further:

1. Do you receive the notice indicating the cache has been cleared?
2. What type of network configuration do you have (subdomain or subdirectory)?

I can confirm wp-content/cache/cache-enabler is not being cleared, checked, refreshed many times, still full of files.

I receive the notice that cache is cleared (but not in reality)
I use subdirectories in network configuration, actually, it is one site with 3 subdirectories where each one is a different language.

It was working flawlessly before WordPress 5.5

When in the admin interface of any site in the network only that site cache will be cleared when using the “Clear Cache” admin bar button.

This is the problem.
The cache of this site is not cleared when I press “Clear Cache”.
I see all files remained in the cache folder.

So I have to use the network admin to clear everything, this way it works.

I must add this.

You shouldn’t feel sorry about my frustration, You should be very sorry about your selves, you are unable to fix something for two years!

Is that happen on the premium version too?

Even if you erase your entire site your rankings will take days to drop, not hours.
Find the cause somewhere else.
I m sure today your rankings are back to normal, are they?

I found a way to disable it on mobile, so everything good.

Does it work with multisites?

Hey, this plugin will drive me crazy

In targeting is selected Posts:with category and in the box next to it the category
AND
In Pages:Selected and in the box on the right the 5 pages I want.

both are in red

Well, it pops up on every other page except the ones I want.
If I change the status to grey it works everywhere.

I may come from Mars or an exoplanet and my logic is completely different than yours here on earth, what can i say?

I use only Autoptimize and I had purge cache many times, no other caching.
Also clearing browser’s cache all the time.

Your 2 explanation may prove helpful, I will give it another try.

Hi again.
Yes, i spotted WPSC Debug file.
If i click on it when i am in debug menu it asks me for user name and password?????wha is the point?
i use the user/password that is showed in there but it is rejected…
Then i try to open the php file from its directory (cache) with an editor, but i cant find something suspicious.
Needless to say that cache files are still created and erased after a while leaving cache directory empty as always.

Honestly, everything on this plugin look and behave weird, you say to it do this and it does something else, i remember now why i had removed it 2 years ago too, for the same reasons.
And i had try it many times in the past, always disappointing.

Finally i removed it, my server looks really good and speedy and don’t really need it.
On top of that it creates lots of problems.
It erases cache for the slightest reason, EVEN IF I CONFIG IT NOT TO DO IT, and don’t recreate them immediately.
If a cache don’t exist page takes many seconds to load and create it, without this plugin server is much faster to serve a live php generated dynamic page, so what is the point to have a plugin that strangles all day to create and erase caching files?

Also it looks and feels a very buggy plugin, someone has to spend whole day to check if it works or not, it seems that almost never does what is supposed to do, I do not trust it!

ok, i removed all Rejected User Agents and tried pingdom with an already cached page.

I stil cannot say for sure if it is faster or not, it took 1.20 seconds to load.
without SC it takes about the same, of course sometimes the server is busy and time is higher.

Still can’t find the log file!! where is it? is it a php file? and if it is why it doesn’t grow in size?

Note: The site is very heavy, each page with pictures and scripts is over 3 mbytes in size, and some are over 5mb.
