Yeah, I’ve tried that, but it shows under Linux that you can modify databases, add user, etc. and I can’t find that anywhere.

So only goDaddy can change those privileges?

What I mean, my username on my dashboard for WP is different from the username in my goDaddy database. I don’t know how to fix it…I have admin privileges in the dashboard, but it’s not letting me add the categories.

The username there is not the same one I use for www.remarpro.com, does that matter?

I had a problem when trying to go to an updated MySQL and they screwed up somehow making it so that my blog was posting to 2 separate databases. They when I tried to backup and restore, I lost half of my stuff. They charged me to fix the databases and said that they did all that they can. What exactly should I tell them to fix….I’m starting to worry about them messing it up again. ??

I’ve done both backups, so that’s not the issue. I have goDaddy as my host, and they said that there is nothing they can do. Who else can I ask?

I did all of that, and the “default category” on the writing page was still empty, and when I tried to add categories, after I hit save, they didn’t save for some reason. This is crazy.

I use Wordfence, but the cache is disabled.

I’ve checked the files with the new ones and they match. Just every time that I try and add a category through the editor, or in a post, it won’t save…and I get the error message. What can I do?
