I still have the message about moving to a more secure connection but when I click “click here” or from the Integration page and click “Manage” I just get “Sorry, this content isn’t available right now” in a pop-out window. Please either remove the message or fix “Manage” so that it actually pulls something up.

I don’t know which is more concerning, the problem or the fact that there’s no answer. Perhaps this is not the place to get support for the plugin?

Yeah, I’ve tried decativating and deleting the plugin, but it continues. Worse, it is always same one… WordPress 4.1-alpha-30266. AND, it reverts my Akismet plugin to 3.0.2 as well, so every time WP updates, I have to update Akismet back to 3.0.3. Really weird.

I’ll try the version.php trick now and post results.

UPDATE: yep, that worked. Now on 4.0.

Now that I know how to fix it (and we’ll know for sure when I don’t get the update emails tomorrow), once there’s an update to the plugin, I’ll try activating it again.

Actually, there’s good reason, and admins usually frown on adding same topic over and over. Forum etiquette 101, search to see if there is already a topic matching what problem you’re having, and use that one if there is one. What, don’t want anyone touching your precious topic? Get real man. That said, since no one is replying to you, we’ll look elsewhere.

PS Reason we post in an existing one is so they know how big the problem is, and not something just with YOUR install.

I guess there’s no author support on this. Too bad.

Kathy, did you try it out? I’m afraid to until I know it works with WP4, and if it does anything to existing accounts or just during new user registration.

I have this happening on my site too. I used the validator and had errors on the google ad scripts, and one from the theme I’m using. However, I have fixed everything that it found (https://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fdecantstoptasting.com&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0) and it still crashes IE.

Doodlebee, try refreshing his and my sites several times. I thought mine was fixed too… I cleared the browser cache, cookies, etc., and it came up a few times normal… but it soon started crashing it consistenty after that. I too have tried it from different computers and on different internet connections (home, work, wife’s work).

I also did a clean install of WP 2.3.1, and the theme I’m using. I just copied the wp-config.php to the new directory. So…. I’m pretty lost at this point.
