In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack counter badgeJeremy or anyone else –
For those of us without the Manual Control plugin, what else might be causing this?
Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce comments managementThanks, Dalton, that helped a bit. I’m still interested in turning off the order comments function entirely in woocommerce and hope someone will eventually post here how to do it.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce comments managementDid anyone on this thread ever find a solution to this? I know I can hide with css but I’d prefer to nip the problem more elegantly.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Simple, but I prefer more colorful iconsFYI, it is possible to style each icon so that it’s a different color, using your CSS file. Here’s an example: I wanted the colors to show up on hover, so this is what I placed in my CSS file.
/* Simple Social Icons ------------------------------------------------------------ */ .social-gplus a:hover { background-color: #DD4B39 !important; } .social-linkedin a:hover { background-color: #006599 !important; } .social-pinterest a:hover { background-color: #C8232C !important; } .social-rss a:hover { background-color: #F78C1A !important; } .social-twitter a:hover { background-color: #1AB2E8 !important; }

In reply to: [Social] [Plugin: Social] Facebook connect errorI’ve got Social working for both Twitter and Facebook, but it’s not picking up anything from FB posts … even when I can see friends of mine have posted the link to a blog post on FB.
Any idea how I can troubleshoot this? Thanks!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Set default siteAck! I’m running the latest version of WP…3.0.2. How stable is 3.1 beta at this point? It’s my main site, so don’t want to throw a wrench in it by upgrading to the beta.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Set default siteJoost, I must be blind. I’m running 3.1 and the latest WP SEO. There is no link to “Network Admin” in the upper right corner of my admin screen. I am the super admin and owner of my sites, so have all permissions.
I see the SEO plugin links at the bottom of the left navbar inside WP admin, but have been unable to find a place in there to set the default site.
What am I missing?
Thanks!

In reply to: Super Admin problemI’m also noticing I can’t add or change the status of users, like I typically could with regular admin privileges.

In reply to: Super Admin problemHi, Andrea –
Here you go:
a:1:{i:2;s:11:"username";}
(where ‘username’ is my admin username)Any ideas?
Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Super Admin problemI noticed today that the “network” option under tools is gone. And I don’t have super admin access anymore, though I do have admin access.
Checked phpmyadmin and made sure my username was listed in site_admins in wp_sitemeta. It is, though I don’t know what the other numbers and code in there means.
Also checked to make sure the
define('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true);
command was still in wp-config. It is.Also deactivated all plugins in unlikely event something there was the culprit. No change.
I’ve done something awful, no doubt, but have no idea what and how to get network and my super admin privileges back!
Can anyone help me?

In reply to: Can’t importHi again –
Ok, a similar problem has cropped up again today, for a different networked blog I’m importing into my mu installation. Safe mode is still off.
Today I’m getting an “unable to create directory” error message. Yesterday I had this same problem initially and called my host to have them set ownership of /2/ to match the ownership of my other directories in the main domain. That fixed it. So I called them to do the same for the new blogs’ directories (e.g., /blogs.dir/4/) but the ownership was already correct.
There’s also another variation from yesterday. Whereas yesterday the directory in which wpmu wanted to put the import blog was …/wp-content/blogs.dir/2/files, today for the new blog it wants to put it in …/wp-content/blogs.dir/4/files/2010/06. I know the 4 is correct, but can’t figure out why it wants to put it in a year/month subdirectory. Permalinks are set to %postname% only. I assume I don’t really want the entire blog imported into a year/month subdirectory, right?
Can anyone help me? I’m stumped again! Thanks!
