we forgot to add this premium feature to the free plugin.
With the latest update to 2.0.2 of the plugin you will have it.

With the premium version you are able to redirect a user to another URL if the code is successfully recognized.

Or you could use the webhook call for successful recognized serial codes and trigger with the call a service.

You could use Javascript to evaluate the response of the serial code check and start downloading the digital version of your product. This requires you to add Javascript to your page.

You could also require the user to create an account with you and use the serial check on the form. This will require you to add Javascript code by yourself.

The basic version allows your users only to check the serial code.

You had a very nice idea. (the prefix for a code) I added it now.
There are a lot of free serial code plugins, where developers added their time to create this. Hope you find what you are looking for.

@jdembowski Hello Jan, I reviewed this, because the reported missing feature (prefix) was not promised on the description. And the missing import is wrong. So I have a false report and a bad 1 star review, which could prevent users looking for this solution to even try it.

The implemented features are well documented and even shown with a video.
So you could check out this first, before installing it and complain.

The basic plugin allows you:
– To import your own codes
– To generate new codes and import them

Prefix could be added as a feature. It was never requested. So why not dropping us an email before you complain and give us a bad review?
