In reply to: [WooCommerce] http 500 error@mikeyarce ok so the exact same WordPress files and DB worked on a 5.6 version – I was then able to upgrade the Woo to 3.3.4 and that worked with no redirect issues or errors
however as its a different server and server set up I am not 100% sure that the PHP version was just the culprit..

In reply to: [WooCommerce] http 500 errorI’m not able to change PHP version currently – but I will see if I can test on another server of mine to see if I can replicate it – won’t be ideal as a different server but might just help me work out if PHP version issue or not
sadly no error logs generated or on screen logs – that is the weird thing just gave me the message this site is not redirecting correctly – its a real odd one
I will do more testing on other sites as this isn’t my only woo site – to see if I can shed more light on it
thank you and yes I did all of that before posting the I disabled all themes and all plugins and reinstated 1 by 1 and the woocommerce was the one that broke it
I can confirm we are on 5.3 PHP version which I think is probably the culprit – but I am not able to upgrade just yet to prove that
thank you
sarahI had to downgrade to a full woocommerce version of 3.3.3 to get it back working – sadly I am not able to upgrade to 5.6 right now as I have another site that I need to keep running that needs 5.3 still
just read that it might be the PHP version (I am running 5.3) to trying a 5.6 upgrade to see if that clears it

In reply to: [WooCommerce] http 500 errorjust testing the PHP version in case that is why I got the same error myself, no logs visible and no error_logs either even though debug is switched on – just seemed to redirect in a loop until timed out – but thank you I will check on the PHP version now and report back
wow what a dumb thing not to have checked myself – as yes you are correct none of the tables had been copied across!! deactivated and reinserted and tables have appeared I will monitor the error file however I can imagine that was the issue!
Really sorry guys stupid error on my part!
Thank you
Sarahsorry you misunderstood me – we are still getting the log file errors – even though no one is getting locked out?
the server move only meant that the user stopped getting locked out
the errors are still showing in the log files – new ones daily
Thank you Sarah
Hello
Yes to user login
and yes to lots of locked out users (was a server issue that never got resolved – just moved to a new host – and not seeing the lock out problems any more)Thank you

In reply to: [WP Latest Posts] Has this been removed from the repository?suggest you try now as I had the exact same issue – file not found! Was just posting on your thread to agree and say def an error and went back to try the download again to copy and paste error message and it worked – so somebody just found and fixed something ??
No I unchecked that as I thought that could be the issue – but it didn’t make any difference
Oh no cache plugins either
Thanks
Sarahyes just tested it – I had to wait a little bit between closing down and going back in – and sadly I still get the same issue
no math captcha showing and therefore I get this error:
ERROR: Your answer was incorrect – please try again.
if I clear cache – works
if I logout everytime- works
if I do neither it doesn’tIt does not seem to know that a session is still running
Thanks
Sarah
