That works and is much better with the “with original” option too.

In reply to: terms2post: unexpected resultsI know I have to extend my theme to be more specific about what it shows and when.
I’ve added the technorati tags and boy, it covers the scope. Even on the teeny posts it manages to find some pretty interesting tags to add. Not ones I’d have targetted.
Is it tweakable?

In reply to: iG:Syntax Hiliter PluginHi
the code is great but I have snippets of blogger templates in my post and the hiliter is putting a space between the < and $ which breaks the example.
see https://sarahk.pcpropertymanager.com/blog/essential-change-to-blogger-templates/163/
any solutions?
thanks

In reply to: alphabetical postsThanks, that’s brilliant. I sent my self 500+ emails tracking the code through apply_filters(). I expected to find there was something in wp-settings or similar.
My version didn’t like just appending the string so I did a string replace. Phew. So happy to have it fixed.
thanks, thanks, thanks!

In reply to: One post works and one doesn’tApart from the base I have the same permalink structure on both blogs (I’ve corrected the / as suggested) and added a new posting which also doesn’t show.
You’re quite right about it picking up the post id correctly, so why not for the other 2?
This is really wierd, because I’ve found WordPress to be 100% painless until now.
I’ll have to make some to troll through the code.

In reply to: Displaying rss feeds on WordPress pagesarahknz – what are you trying to do? have a post that IS a dynamic RSS feed listing? like using a Page in WP1.5 to show feeds? I’ve been thinking of adding this to CG-Inline (the ability to inline a FeedRead lookup…). Lemme know… ??
Parts of my blog are technical and if I’m discussing a blog or feed I’ve found somewhere it would be good to be able to display it too.
Example: Watching my directory?
I want it to be quick and easy. In the example above I have a vested interest in making a big more of an effort but in most cases I dont ??

In reply to: Displaying rss feeds on WordPress pageI’m a techie and I found all that overly technical. Maybe it’s because I see my blog as a toy, not work. I was hoping I could have something in the post like
<wpspecial rss='https://www.mysite.com/rss.xml' />
and it would pick up on the tag and parse in the (cached html). Is that feasible? I’d be happy to write it if someone could point me in the right direction – but when I’m blogging I want it to be simple.
