I looked in the Media Library, and you’re right Dan, the PDFs do show that they Uploaded to the corresponding page. I’m not sure how I did that…but I did. (Insert sheepish smile here.)

This is the part where I’m confused… What do you mean by
“things attached to the page”? I had added the PDFs as media (Add media button) but after I deleted them, they still show up with just the [dg] tag. How would I go about attaching more PDFs to the page? By adding media and then deleting them again? ??

Sorry, I’m so new to this… I’m more comfortable writing straight XML or HTML than using WordPress it seems.

Wow! Thank you. It’s working just the way I had hoped it would.

I went back and deleted my “quick fix” but now I’m puzzled…how does the [dg] code know which PDFs to display on this page since I’ve deleted any mention of the files on that page? When I want to add another PDF to this page for example, how would I do that?

Perhaps your code is so simple it’s confusing in its elegance!
