1. I am using Siteground Optimizer for optimization, for compression of images, files etc.. Is it enough (I am asking this as you have mentioned that dFlip work faster with gzip compression)?
2. I see page flip sound coming on pages irrespective of whether dFlip flipbook is used or not. I would like to prevent this. Kindly assist.

Few queries based on your response:

1. Do I have to go for gzip compression only, for sure? I am currently using SiteGround Optimizer for compression of images, js, css files, caching etc.. optimization, will this just not suffice?
2. I see dFlip related js, css files being loaded in the header of all the pages irrespective of whether that page has flipbook or not. But, I understand that running of the script happens only when dFlip events are called. Correct me if I my understanding wrong.

I know it’s after a little while that I am getting back to you on your plugin.

Firstly, how are you doing?

I am doing performance test on my website and found that dFlip plugin is adding incredibly more size to the pages, even to the pages where it is not added.

1. My understanding is that – all the files related to all the plugins will be loaded on all the web pages in the website, because plugins load at application level. Is this the reason it affects all pages size as well as speed?
2. Is there any other way to increase the performance of my website, that’s currently getting affected by your plugin majorly?

1. As you can see in the video, I have only two courses under Category “Art”, but only one among them is shown in the results plus so many other courses which do not at all have Category “Art”.
   

2. Also there is only one course that has tag “Kathak”, but that course isn’t shown in the results, rather another course which has the word “Kathak” in it’s title/description is shown.

I definitely need your help. Thank you so very much for offering help in this regard. I have Events Manager free version plugin. I do not want to go for Pro to show Events as slider or other enhancements.

I used smart slider 3 for showing events. However I had to prepare events from scratch to show them as slides. By doing this, I could give different look and feel to different slides (i.e; to different events).

1. Is there a way to pull events from Events Manager and show it in smart slider 3? (You can view Upcoming Events section on my home page in the link provided in this thread.)
2. How to show upcoming events ordered by date and time, and ignore past events. I want to show a maximum of 3-4 upcoming events

How can I accomplish these?

I have noticed one weird problem since I implemented your flipbook. I go to any page (other than the page where flipbooks are embedded), and click on right/left arrows in keyboard, then it is giving flip page sound. How to prevent that?

Thank you so very much for all the support you have provided in this thread. I am impressed. Flipbook free version in itself is also good.

I am trying to see if it would be possible to add sounds to the flipbook wherever there are pictures. For example, in my sample flipbooks that I uploaded, there are dogs in one page. And on hover of mouse over the picture (or) even when that page has just opened, I want it to produce sounds.
Will it be possible to do that.

In have go through the wordpress Flipbook plugin features (both free as well as premium versions), but I don’t see this feature although there is something close like PDF links:?

From what I have seen in features, it looks like the requirement that I am looking for (playing sounds.. as this website is for kids) is a far-fetching thing.. completely out of the boundaries, right?

You mentioned the following earlier

Elementor popups remove the content object from DOM when they do no show it.

It works for normal static elements. But won’t work for flipbook since it is complex and dynamic in structure and cannot function once removed from DOM. We do not recommend usage of third party popups for such reasons. Or you can contact Elementor to improve their popup to support such elements.

You can use our popups. You can find the thumb popup shortcode in shortcode box of post type.

Could you please tell me what exactly you want us to suggest Elementor. What content object related to your flipbook is Elementor removing and what should they do to make your Flipbook work? I guess, they would point us to you to make the plugin more sophisticated, because this is the usual pattern we observed with support people.

But from structural point of view, let’s try to understand the hierarchy. Elementor is like the foundation upon which everything else stands. Hence, Flipbook being dependent on page builders from customers point of view, I think it would be apt for Flipbook to work well with various page builders. Does this make sense?

I tried with the following shortcode to accomplish Point-2 in my earlier message. That is, I want to create a custom thumbnail image and on click of that open your popup flipbook. But it did not work.

Two things with showing popup flipbook.

1. I want to show thumbnail images on a screen and on click of each image, I want to show your popup flipbook. If I use [dflip id=”1349″ type=”thumb”][/dflip] to accomplish this, I will have to place multiple similar popup thumb shortcodes on the same page. I could have about 50-100 on the same page in future. Does this mean multiple flipbooks are used on the same page? And if this is the case, it slows down page load, is that right? (or) doesn’t it come under multiple flipbooks on the same page as these are popups?

2. [dflip id=”1349″ type=”thumb”][/dflip] is automatically creating a thumbnail on click of which your popup flipbook is shown. What if I want to create a custom thumbnail images on a page (https://vidhyar3.sg-host.com/) and on click of each image show your popup flipbook like the one shown in step-1? i.e; Will I be able to integrate custom images vs popup flipbook. If so, how?

This issue is not fixed. But looks like Plugin support has changed it to Resolve without giving proper solution or information.
