Sorry to hijack this thread. I have the same problem. SEO Spam.

Sucuri Online shows the site as infected and I received an email from Google saying the site was hacked.

I did a complete scan with the plugin and it detected two threats which were quarantined.

I did a rescan. Sucuri still shows site as infected. Other scanners show site as clean but there are almost 100 outbound links from the site to websites

https://blog.thoitrangf5.vn
https://thoitrangf5.vn etc which are spam links inserted into the code.

Btw, the site url is https://www.hometoolsworld.com

Try activating a different theme and then switch back to the one thats causing the trouble. Worked for me.

Change:
<link rel=”Shortcut Icon” href=”<?php echo get_settings(‘home’); ?>/wp-content/themes/blue-zinfandel/images/favicon.ico” type=”image/x-icon” />
to:
<link rel=”Shortcut Icon” href=”<?php bloginfo(‘stylesheet_directory’); ?>/images/favicon.ico” type=”image/x-icon” />
