I have read your issue. But Blog Designer free plugin can only be used to design blog page. You cannot use it for archive page. In pro version of plugin, you can design archive page.

Thank you for using our plugin ‘Blog Designer’.

This pencil icon is coming from plugin file. So you can not overwrite it from there. If you want to change it, you need to change in plugin file.

I have checked with your blog page. Currently blog is not from Blog Designer plugin. So we cannot see the issue. Please create any sample page and add blog designer shortcode on that page. So we can check on that page.
