Yes, sounds good…, I believe that the ‘Busqueda Rapida’ should show all people…that’s the best! Right now a lot of them are not showing up there because of the 30 character condition….even some who have put photos.

That may not be tied to the condition setup in the wordpress admin page…it should be always on I believe for “Busqueda rapida”.

Most dating sites give the option to the user to search for ‘users with photos only’ that’s how they solve that issue.

For the homepage without login, yes it is fine to have this condition of 30 characters.

I disabled the option of “Members without photo less visible”. Still the search from the “Busqueda Rapida” and the main search at the top “Busqueda” show different results.

It seems to me that “Busqueda rapida” only shows profiles which have text in them (in the ‘gancho’ and ‘mi anuncio’). If a profile has no text, it is ignoring those users, which is a lot of them, because initially most people don’t put anything in the text part of the profile “gancho” and “mi anuncio”.

I do know that women will just put a photo and never put any text ever (they don’t need to-they get responses anyway) and the ‘busqueda rapida’ will ignore all those profiles-probably not something we want?

Can you remove this condition? It is probably the same condition for putting profiles on the main page for non-registered users….30 character minimum text and some headline, it is fine there, but in “busqueda rapida” I think it removes a lot of users.

The top results from “busqueda” look great, they cover all profiles, with or without text, with our without photos. “busqueda rapida” should be identical to it, I think….

Ok..thanks..what is the procedure to install the Updates? Download the plugin files (rencontre) and write over all the directory files which exist? Don’t have to install anything, correct?

ok Jacques, not a major problem anyway…can u make the arrow bigger and pointing up, and ‘A?adir la foto’ also big, so it is easy for the user to see how to upload photos..that should be good enough.

Oh oh Jacques, i found u already had done this in the first part when a new user signs up, they are asked the age range of the person they want to go out with…
so nothing to worry about here, will put this as resolved.

This can also be done by specifying X days for free users, after which they need to pay for access to the site.

A completely free site would be a very large X, e.g. 1000

Normally a paid dating site would give a free trial for some days, e.g. 3 days, or 7 days. X would be 3 or 7 here.

A completely paid site with no free trial would have X=0

That way just by the variable X one can go from free to paid.
