Yes, I figured it out! I was using categories, and it seemed to do something like turn the single podcast into many series. Once I deleted the categories it fixed both issues. Thank you!

Thanks for your response! I have found managing large galleries to be difficult using the wordpress native feature, but maybe the recent updates have made it more manageable. I also find the native viewing (with the lack of lightbox) to be quite difficult. Am I correct that to comment on an individual image within a wordpress native gallery it links to an attachment page? Are there any plugins that allow it to show in a lightbox and continue to allow commenting?

Thanks! Yes I checked and it was an issue with the theme. It’s working now.

The plugin author helped me to integrate these two, and it does work. The only issue is with the load time of nextgen pro which they say they are working on.

The issues were with how I integrated the new nextgen pro template with the voting plugin. Turns out that next gen pro was what is slowing down the site load time. next gen pro says they’re working on it fixing this.

Has ANYONE gotten this to work?

At this point I will gladly pay someone to make it work.

Is there any combination that anyone could suggest that would allow both individual images within a nextgen gallery to be voted on and commented on?

Maybe there’s a completely different plugin that actually works?

Has any one else had issues with integrating the voting plugin with next gen pro? I am trying to use one of the pro templates, and have placed the tag correctly, but it is still not working. Does anyone know how to make this work with ANY of the pro templates? I need the pro functionality because I need surfers to be able to comment on the individual photos as well. Ideally I would be using NextGEN Pro Filmbox Galleries, but I’ve also given up on getting this to work ideally.

Suggestions for developers who could make this work are also welcome.
