Ha, I was vague wasn’t I? I tried The Grey Parrot’s method only because for some reason that’s the one that came up first in my email box. I’m sure your method would’ve worked too so I guess that makes you a genius too!

I found the place to embed codes in the library. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for trying to help but it didn’t work. When I added the code, the text did get wider but nothing else adjusted accordingly such that I had elements overlapping each other and also my text was smaller and my background disappeared. If you have any other thoughts on how to make the text space wider, I’d appreciate it!

Yes, I’d like to see less background and I want the area that is white currently to be wider. I hope that makes sense!

I got it under the wordpress themes page… I recently tried to look it up again to see if the theme is a fixed width theme and I can’t find it anymore!

I got the theme from the wordpress site. I know that I need to modify the CSS code; I just don’t know how to specifically modify the column width.
