In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Unable to override CSS using child theme style.cssApologies for wasting your time Chris.
Finally realised that whilst style.css was loading, it didn’t contain the new section of CSS relating to your plugin. The wpengine CDN doesn’t seem to be updating the file so I’ll raise a ticket with them about it, as it’s never been an issue before.
So should anyone else have gotten to the bottom of this thread, this plugin does work with an Enfold child theme, and you do not need the Simple Custom CSS plugin.

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Unable to override CSS using child theme style.cssThanks for taking an in-depth look at this.
All the other overrides in the my child theme stylesheet are working, so this is quite puzzling. The issue persists for me with all other plugins off, so I guess the next step is to set it up in a different environment and see if it occurs there.
I’m not sure you can help any further at this stage, but thank-you again for your time.

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Unable to override CSS using child theme style.cssThanks for the speedy response. I cleared caches (server and browser) several times prior to posting. I only resorted to the Simple Custom CSS plugin after concluding that many attempts at more specificity were having no effect.
If
.testimonial .inner { background: #f9f9f9; }
works in Simple Custom CSS, surely it should also work in style.css?
The following doesn’t work in style.css either:
.strong-container .testimonial .inner { background: #f9f9f9; }
Glad you got it working to your satisfaction.
It seems [clef_render_login_button] isn’t currently working in widgets (it’s on the list to be updated to work in widgets). You can however use it in pages if you wish to.
Maybe I’ve misunderstood, but you can drop [clef_render_login_button] into the Core WordPress Text widget, and place it where you want it?

In reply to: [Sidekick] Should roles access different content?Almost there! Shop Managers are now able to view the WooCommerce module, but can’t view the Core module.
(Tested against WordPress 3.9.1, Sidekick 1.4, WooCommerce 2.1.12)

In reply to: [Sidekick] Should roles access different content?The problem originally reported persists with WordPress 3.9.1, Sidekick WP plugin 1.3.6 and WooCommerce 2.1.12. A Shop Manager role is unable to view both the Core WordPress content (all of it, not just the free parts) and the WooCommerce content. The message displayed in the empty Sidekick tutorial selection area is “Sorry but there is no walkthroughs found for WordPress 3.9.1”

In reply to: [Sidekick] Doesn't display help button or menuOK, the other plugin has been updated, but the sites in question still won’t display the Sidekick button or menu. I’ve tried completely removing Sidekick (checked via ftp that whole directory removed) and reinstalled, but that hasn’t resolved the problem.
Interestingly though I installed Sidekick on a site that hasn’t had it previously installed and it worked first time. The sites in question are all running similar (but not identical plugins), but even deactivating all other plugins, the Sidekick button and menu are not appearing. Is there a footprint left in the database I need to remove to obtain a clean plugin install?
Sites are all on WPengine hosting, but I note Sidekick’s turned up in my user portal there, so I’m hoping it’s nothing to do with that ??

In reply to: [Sidekick] Doesn't display help button or menuI was experiencing a JavaScript issue with a different plugin, but having established what that issue was had deactivated that pending an author fix, and didn’t see any other JavaScript errors. I’ll do some more testing and drop you an email if I can’t resolve it – thanks!
Since this an enhancement suggestion, I’ll close it down now it’s been discussed ??
