I’m not exactly looking for extracting mages. I want to upload directly into Imgur using its API using the WordPress functions. Its basically I want to override the WordPress upload function with Imgur API so that every image uploaded gets uploaded into Imgur instead of the WP server.

I tried looking into the Imgur API and found out that its actually really simple to use and upload. In fact it supports PHP and you can have a look at a tutorial published here, the demo of which is available here.
As I know it takes 2-3 mins to get this working, the only place I am stuck at is the upload procedure of WordPress. Once I get to know how it is handled I may be able to override it with the Imgur API to make it working.

I am inserting it on top of single-post.php in my child theme.

You’re right, I am using the shortcode on a page. The shortcode mentions the pod and its ID. The shortcode is :

[pods name=”hello” slug=”7″ form=”1″ label=”Submit”]

where “hello” is the pod.
When you say add the list of fields manually, do you mean I should add all the fields shortcode(s) individually to create a form? Anyway, I am going to try the class as well.

Thanks for your answer. I want to backup the static files mainly on another server. I have already figured out a way to backup files through FTP but was just worried if that is a secured way to do it.

@karpstrucking As long as I know OpenShift has a customized version of WP(link). The installation is a one-click installation.
OpenShift mentions that the files can be viewed/edited with the help of GIT although I am having trouble locating the WP folders as the structure of the installation is entirely different.

See I know its working but you know what its there not at the “DEFAULT’ place and even not present there below the “Title” of my page there is no place to set the permalink, I have to set it at the “Slug” column.
I wanted it at the default as it should have been…..
