mines the same, the server (softaculous) auto updated my site today and bam! hacked. I’m following this in the hope of a fix! Good luck mate

I’ve sent an email a week ago and not heard back so I’m guessing support is none existent or they’re working full time seeing as nobody replies to support?
I’ve installed a plugin called “notification bar” by 8degree themes and its spot on so if you can’t get these shortcodes and/or php code in you’re header like me give this ago its plug n play ??

I’ve just uninstalled contact form 7 and am trying ‘fast secure contact form’ and when setting it up I stumbled upon this which is maybe why cf7 isn’t working for us? It says it needs a return email address which I’ve never had and maybe our hosts (123-reg for me) cant send our emails cos of it?

Return-path address sets an email header for the address the messages are sent from. Some web hosts do not allow PHP to send email unless the Return-path email address header is set. It must be set to a real email address on your site domain, or mail will NOT SEND! (They do this to help prevent spam.) This setting is required by Yahoo, AOL, Comcast, Dreamhost, GoDaddy, and most others now.
Enter just an email: [email protected]
Or enter name and email: webmaster,[email protected]

I hope you don’t mind me joining this as I’m having the exact same issue and have been for months now! I’m keen to see if there’s a fix for it as I’ve always used contact form 7 without any issues.
If I send an email from the form to my business address I get it via webmail but not in my email program (WLM) and if I send one to my gmail address it doesn’t come either?

yeah I did that and my site looked fine afterwards but I’d rather it was shown so is why I’m here. Also, the menu button wasn’t working either and disabling the sidebar fixed that too.
I saw a link yesterday with an edit to the child theme to remedy this. I’ll post it if I find it again…

Did you resolve this Crissy? I’m currently trying to get my site to display on mobiles and if the side bar is active it throws the pages out and overlaps. I’m guessing I need a child theme so am poking around and this might help ??

when u post a review it asks which version your using so I guessed mine was old? Just seen that the latest vsn is 2.62 doh!

I’ve just landed here trying to resolve the same issue and disabling wi-fi on my smart phone resolves the issue so it has to be an issue on the LAN probably the Virgin Media router (super hub).

I cleared the logs in the router then turned wi-fi back on and my sites loaded fine again so I’m guessing w-fi needed refreshing.

I’ve just ran the 3.5.2 update and I’m getting this message now too! it seems to have knocked my site off? I can’t access admin or anything? HELP :'(

its the “city desk” theme, I can edit PHP to add plugins but am not a coder but there’s no need to code anything. They are difficult to set up and you will need to ask for help & watch the tutorials but I think it’s worth it rather than rely on plugins as the theme has it all ??
