I’m back to normlal with a new version of Headway, and adding back the plugins one by one… to see who’s the culprit. This is more work than I need righ now… but thanks to your suggestion I’m on my way.

I followed the steps in the link, made the changes.
I was able to open Admin page.

My site is unrecognisable. What do I do now?? How do i restore it? How do I add back the theme and the plugins?

Any suggestion?

Would I be able to bring my site back the the theme I have? I paid $$ to use headway, and hundreds of hours to design my site.

What is the twentyten theme?

If I follow the steps in the link, how do I restore it to my original Headway?

I had the same problem after upgrading WP 3. cannot open my admin page. Tryed to re-name the plugin folder something else, then created a ne plugin folder (empty).

No chnage! Still can’t get to admin page.

Everyone seems to be succesful with this method, what am I doing wrong? I am new at this snd I may be making some simple mistake. (did no get steps 3-6 from joelbrock, I don’t knoe where is the plugins mgmt page, and what he downloaded, or why he deleted an empty folder)

Any idea? I am frustrated and scared… can’t loose this site.

HELP, PLEASE!

Having the same problem getting to admin page after upgrading WP.

Tried the suggested fix: rename the plugins directory, create an empty plugins directory from my Bluehost site. No success.

I’m not skilled at this, and I have trouble even finding files and directories… Could anybody help me?

I found the wp-content/plugins, as mrmist advised, and renamed it something else, then created an empty plugin as isistimento did.

I could not find the line he deleted in my wp-config.php, so I didn’t delete anything.

Still not able to open admin page.

Any suggestion?

I’m having the exact problem now, after upgrading WP. Seems that some of you found the fix… but I’m reading the answers and cannot figure it out. I’m green at this. Does someone have th etime to give me a step-by step fix?

I was able to figure it out myself.

I also am a non-techie at WP. I’m trying to simplify the Contact Form 7 on my blog. Anybody would know how to:

1. align the form to the left of the page (it is now in the center)
2. have the box to the left of the text (it is now under the text)
3. change the heigth of the message box (I’ve learned how to change the width above, thanks)

Thank you Ganglieri and bh_WP_fan for your help. I am safe, I changed the passwords. Your explanations hepled, I know what I’ll do next.

btw: Headway is new and very different, from what I read, and since I’m lacking CSS skils, it will save me lots of time, more than what I’ll spend for it. I found it by searching themes with good SEO.

You are right, I completely ingnored the fact that it’s a public forum.

I love the WP, I’m excited to start building it. My question was this:

Where do I download the premium Headway theme I want to buy?

Also, is it safer to have the WP in the public domain that BlueHost put it in, or should I try to move everythign on my computer? What if it crashes?
